Yep, it’s bloody happened again Arsenal fans!
The Gunners have drawn German giants Bayern Munich in the knock out stages of the Champions League.
It will be the third time in the last five seasons the sides meet in last 16 stage, but the one constant of these meetings has been the result. It doesn’t make good reading for Arsenal fans, as they’ve come out on the losing end of both ties.
After seeing them handed Bayern yet again in this morning’s Champions League draw our traders have Arsenal’s odds sinking worse than your crazy aunt’s festive pudding – moving them out to a massive 20/1 shot.

2010 was the last time Arsenal managed to process to the quarter-final stage and they’ve exited in the last 16 in every year since. To be fair to the Gunners, they can’t seem to buy a decent draw.
In the last six campaigns they’ve drawn Barcelona twice, Munich twice, AC Milan and Monaco. It’s fair to say it seems about as likely as a Christmas murder in EastEnders these days that Arsenal will get a huge team in last 16.
In fact, the last time Wenger lead his side into a Champions League quarter final Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ was topping the UK charts, Gordon Brown was still in number 10 and the first version of the iPad had only been on sale for three days. Oh, those were the days…
Anyhow, given their luckless record in the last 16 in recent times. We’ve decided give loyal punters their stakes back as a free bet if they’d had a punt on the Gunners to win the Champions League.
