Champions League: Create your own wonderful Wednesday with our 26/1 acca

This punt could make you euphoric about European football if it lands

Booking the couch is essential if you’re a footie fan tonight as the Champions League takes over our screens again.

Three British clubs lead the charge in Europe – with Arsenal at home to French giants PSG, Man City travel to Germany to face Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic Park hosts another mega-occasion with Barcelona in town.

Having been energised by all the action across the continent, we felt the need to put together an acca that could deliver for punters at 26/1 – lets explain our selections for you.

All the best Football punts are on PP.com

Arsenal v PSG, BT Sport 3

The build-up to this match has been plighted by the refusal of UK officials to leave Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier into the country – which has probably given the game more spice, given that both side are already through.

Arsene Wenger will see this as a must-win though, as three points will mean his Gunners would be guaranteed to top Group A. PSG are unbeaten in nine games, but a good omen for Arsenal is that the men from the French capital have lost on their previous two journeys across the English channel in the Champions League.

PSG have also never defeated Arsenal in the competition despite three cracks at it, so we are going to tip the men from North London to open our acca at .

Borussia Monchengladbach v Man City, BT Sport 2

Having already stuffed Monchengladbach at the Etihad earlier in the Group C, Man City know a draw in Germany will seal their passage into the knockout phase.

However, a win tonight could keep them in the hunt for top spot after a stunning victory over Barcelona last time out. Monchengladbach looked shambolic at the back against Celtic and come into the game having not won in four games, losing their last two.

City have picked off three wins in their last four and we can’t see them not taking away three points tonight, so they’re on our betslip at .

Celtic v Barcelona, BT Sport/ESPN

This is probably the night’s sexiest tie when you say it out loud, but on the pitch there’s a chasm between them in terms of quality.

In the lead up to the game Brendan Rodgers was asked about the Loch Ness Monster’s existence, well our traders feel Celtic’s chances of winning are just as mythical at .

Barca dismantled the Hoops 7-0 earlier on in the season and after a home draw with Malaga at the weekend, Messi and Co are not likely to care how great the atmosphere is at Celtic Park. You can’t see nothing other than a win for the Spaniards here at .

Best of the rest

To add a bit of extra value to our acca, we’ve travelled to Eastern Europe to find you an draw as Ludogorets Razgrad welcome FC Basel to Bulgaria.

Ludogorets scared the bejesus out of Arsenal on match day four and were only bamboozled by Mesut Ozil’s brilliance right at the death. Basel could only manage a 1-1 draw with them at St. Jakob-Park in their last meeting, and we fancy a repeat tonight.

The final leg of our acca has an Italian flavour thanks to Napoli’s contest with Ukrainian champions Dynamo Keiv.

Keiv have been Group B’s whipping boys, only managing only a single point from four games. Napoli have Besiktas breathing down their necks for qualification, so we believe their greater desperation for result should help us land the punt on them being victorious.
