Liverpool v Leicester: Led by Lallana, here’s a 7/2 wincast for the Reds to slay the Foxes

On the mark for the Reds already, first international goal in the bag. What's not to love?

With Liverpool being favourites, the Premier League Champions find themselves at a huge price to win away for Saturday’s late kick-off.

Even though Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester travel to Anfield on the back of a win and ahead of their opponents in the table, they still find themselves as whopping outsiders to come away with three points.

That victory over Swansea has covered over the cracks a bit for the Foxes, after what has to be said is a sluggish start to the season for them.

For all the odds on Liverpool v Leicester is the place to go

After roaring to glory last season, the results so far in Leicester’s title defence have been more mixed than a bag of Liquorice allsorts.

On opening day they became the first Premier League champions in history to lose on their first league fixture of their defence and to make matter worse it came at the hands of newly promoted and manager-less Hull City.

Things have picked up slightly since then as they shared a goalless draw at home to Arsenal, before being made to work all the way for their first three points of the campaign by a plucky Swansea side.

When you take all that into account, you can see why they stand at to retain their Premier League crown.

Lordly Lallana

Liverpool’s usual inconsistent start to the season will have frustrated manager Jurgen Klopp no end.

His side looked world beaters at 1-4 up on the opening day at the Emirates, but shipped two late goals to just barely scarp over the line. That was followed by an embarrassing 2-0 slump away to Burnley, but they did put in a much better showing away a Spurs in a 1-1 draw.

Klopp doesn’t have to look far for a man to drive his side forward however, in fact he only has to go next door to his neighbour Adam Lallana.

Lallana already has goal and an assist to his name in the Premier League and should be brimming with confidence after (finally) netting his first international goal on Sunday for England.

Given his recent form, we think a wincast of a victory for Liverpool coupled with Lallana to score at any time might be the right way to go for Saturday’s game at .

If in doubt, see it out

As Liverpool are favourites, a punt that may increase the value on a win for the Reds would be to add both teams to score at .

The stats back this up because, even though Leicester have found only found the onion sack three times this season, the Reds have had more holes in defence than Ryan Lochte’s Brazilian robbery story.

Liverpool have let in six goals in three Premier League matches and their only clean sheet of this campaign came against Championship newcomers Burton Albion in the EFL Cup.

Mané-ing up

The Reds have been boosted this week by the news that new signing Sadio Mané is fit after an injury scare on Senegal duty.

The former Southampton man hit the ground running for Liverpool with a wonder goal at Arsenal and he can be found at for an anytime goal.

After smashing their transfer record to buy Algeria striker Islam Slimani from Sporting Lisbon, the Foxes may be looking for him immediately start repaying the £29.7m they invested.

Slimani has already found the target with our traders, who have him leading the Leicester market for first goal scorer at , ahead of compatriot Riyad Mahrez at and even Jamie Vardy at .
