Nor' More Chances
Nothing but a win will do for Norwich but Sunderland can seal it with a win
Liverpool v Chelsea – Wed 8pm, Sky Sports 1
There’ll be a few Chelsea fans thinking Liverpool are seven days away from a Europa League final, is Jurgen Klopp really going to risk big stars so close to such a big game and against Chelsea. Who will make it very competitive. My thought is that he won’t. He didn’t risk them at the weekend against Watford when then they won at a canter. He made eight changes from team which started against Villarreal and I think the starting line-up will be very similar to the one against Watford. That’s not to say that they can’t beat Chelsea because they can but I think this is a tough one to pick because of uncertainty over Liverpool’s team.

If Liverpool had their best side out then I would be all over them to win the game. I’m drawn towards the draw here. It’s a game Chelsea can get something from because I don’t believe they’ll be facing a full strength Liverpool side. I’m going to go for a 1-1.
If you want to wait until an hour before kick-off to see what team Klopp picks, if it’s a strong side then I would be all over the home win. Because I don’t think it will be I’m going for a draw.
Norwich v Watford, Wed 7.45pm
I don’t know if I hold out much hope for Norwich staying up but what I do know is that they have to win this game to have any chance. Watford have nothing to play for, they were half-decent against Liverpool but they still go beaten quite easily but a weakened Liverpool side.
I expect Norwich to win this, their need is greater than Watford’s who I don’t think will be really at it in this game. I see them winning this 2-1.
Sunderland v Everton – Wed 7.45pm
On the evidence of the weekend Everton are already on the beach. I thought they were awful against Leicester and they could have lost by six or seven. They were really, really poor and Sam Allardyce will be hoping they bring that same performance to the Stadium of Light.
I have to think that Everton will be better but I’m also thinking that Sunderland will win. They won’t want to go to the weekend needing a win away at Watford so Sam would like this done and dusted so he’ll demand a big performance from his team and I think he’ll get it. To come from behind twice against Chelsea was remarkable and showed great spirit and great quality. I’m going to go for Sunderland to win this game 2-0.
