They’re fifth, 15 points off the top but are in great home form (only 1 loss in their last 9 games).

The sun is quite common in Spain. For Villains and Geordies, it’s that big yellow thing in the sky that comes out every couple of months. But Deportivo supporters know the feeling of Villa fans. They’ve gone 15 home games without a win. They’re six points off the relegation zone, thanks mainly to 15 draws this season, including four of their last five at the Riazor.
Levante are desperately trying to escape the bottom five, six points off at the moment but could be nine by the time kick off comes around. They did manage to draw their last away game at Sociedad, but haven’t won a game on the road since the 11th of November and they look to be nailed on to go down. We don’t even need to make the joke. Roma vs Internazionale – 19:45 Serie A
Roma are unbeaten in eight as they try to and stave off the challenge of Fiorentina and Inter to hold onto the final Champions League place at the top. Scoring 17 in their last six means that if I Giallorossi can beat Inter tonight, it’ll effectively end any hope of the away side reutrning to the top tier of European competition in 2017.
But don’t write off Roberto Mancini’s side just yet. Their only defeats since the start of February have come away against Fiorentina and Juventus. Juve are top of the table so that was expected and Inter were unusually flat against Fiorentina. An old school game, plenty of hard tackles and grit. Roma to win with both teams to score at
Lyon vs Nice – 20:00 Ligue 1
Nantes are travelling to Lyon with the chance to leapfrog them in the league with a victory. But their form when on the road is patchy. The only victory they’ve had since November is against the French equivalent of Aston Villa in Troyes, who are 19 points off safety with a handful of games left and also the team that everyone beats.
Lyon in the Parc Olympique look unbeatable. They ended PSG’s 36 game unbeaten run there two weeks ago which was one of seven wins in their last eight on their own pitch. Even more impressive is the 20 goals they’ve scored in that run at home. Despite still missing Mathieu Valbuena, Lyon will know the importance of this game and they will want to send a message.
