This is the obvious bet. Obviously. Aguero is one of the most consistent strikers in the world so he’ll always be a good bet to get on the scoresheet as long as he’s fit. The add a little more meat to this “tip” Aguero has 10 goals in his last 12 games for City. He has also scored 8 goals in his last 8 games against Manchester United, hitting the net in 6 of those 8 games.
This game being at the Etihad Stadium bolsters this bet with 62.5% of Aguero’s City goals coming in home games.
2. Over 2.5 goals at
A short price but it has solid stats behind it. There have been over 2.5 goals in 12 of the last 18 Manchester derbies. In the 18 Premiership/Premier League seasons where both Manchester sides have been in the top tier there has been only 3 seasons where there wasn’t at least one game with more than 2.5 goals. The first game this season finished scoreless.

Both teams have scored in 7 of the last 11 meetings and more specifically both teams have hit the net in 4 of the last 5 games at the Etihad Stadium. With a top four finish on the line this should be a little feistier than your average United game this season and it’s not like either team has looked rock solid at the back.

4. Goal in both halves at
7 of last 11 games have had goals in both halves which is a 64% strike rate, giving this a more than 50-50 shot of happening. There’s too much on the line for both teams not to go for it from the off. We’re almost guaranteed goals in the second half at the Etihad Stadium so this one will come down to whether you see there being a goal in the first half.
5. More goals in 2nd half at
