7.15pm: Stephen Bunting v Luke Woodhouse – Stephen Bunting to win

Stephen Bunting has been playing some good stuff. I think he’ll be hearing whispers that he’s going to be getting into the Premier League, and that should help him relax into not just this match but the rest of the tournament as well.

With the fact that Luke Humphries won’t be next up, he’ll take great encouragement from that, and that’s not to disrespect Peter Wright.

I think he’ll get through this match quite comfortably. As much as I’ve been impressed by Luke Woodhouse, Bunting will be going on to the quarter-finals.

8.30pm: Michael van Gerwen v Jeffrey de Graaf – Michael to win, most 180s & highest checkout

There were real signs that Michael van Gerwen was getting into form in the middle part of his match against Brendan Dolan, even if he did stumble a little towards the end. Again, the fact that he thought he would’ve possibly been playing Gary Anderson in this round but is facing Jeffrey de Graff is a big boost for him.

I can see van Gerwen getting through this match pretty quickly, too, maybe dropping a set or two. The match treble of to win, most 180s, and highest checkout is always worth a shot when Michael’s involved.

9.45pm: Luke Littler v Ryan Joyce – Luke Littler to win 4-0

Luke Littler started slowly in both of his matches so far and I don’t think he can afford to do that tonight. Ryan Joyce is a threat. He’s a good finisher, but I think Littler will put on a bit of a show tonight from the get-go.

I’m going to back him to win the match 4-0. He’ll have looked back at the first two games and have thought, right, now’s the time to put the foot on the gas.

He should fire in a good few 180s as well along the way, but I see him coming through it quite comfortably and completing the quarter-final’s line-up.
