7:15pm: Gian van Veen v Ricardo Pietreczko

Van Veen to win 3-1
Under 7.5 180s

Gian van Veen was explosive at the recent Grand Slam and while he didn’t win his first match here last year, that should change this time round.

He’ll come through against Ricardo Pietreczko, however, he may drop a set. I’m expecting Van Veen to win 3-1.

There may also be a bit of value in backing under 7.5 180s. That’s a solid side bet.

23/10
Gian van Veen 3-1 Correct Score

10/11
Under Total 180’s

8:15pm: Daryl Gurney v Florian Hempel

Gurney to win 3-1

Florian Hempel was really impressive in his first-round match but this will be a step too far for him.

Daryl Gurney has been going about his business quietly this year and I fancy him to get the job done. He may drop a set though so I’ll go with Gurney to win 3-1.

3/1
Daryl Gurney 3-1 Correct Score

9:15pm Dave Chisnall v Ricky Evans

Chisnall to win 3-2

This could be a great match. Ricky Evans struggled last time out but he will produce a better performance on Monday.

It’s sometimes hard to know what you’re going to get from Dave Chisnall but he should have just enough.

This could go all the way but I fancy Chisnall to come through in the last set. Chisnall to win 3-2.

7/2
Dave Chisnall 3-2 Correct Score

10:15pm: Rob Cross v Scott Williams

Williams to win
Williams to have the most 180s

This could be the best match of the round.

They played in this round a couple of years ago and Rob Cross was pushed all the way but got through.

Scott Williams hit nine 180s in his opening match and I’m going to for an upset in the final match of the night.

I’m backing Williams to win and there’s also value in backing him to have the most 180s. He’s on fire at the moment.
