7:15pm: Jeffrey De Graaf v Rashad Sweeting

De Graaf to win 3-0

Sweeting is making his debut and making history as well as he’s the first player from the Bahamas to feature at the PDC World Championship.

It’s a tall order against De Graaf, who had a good run to the third round last year.

Sweeting has been averaging around 75 for the season and that won’t be good enough on Tuesday.

De Graaf has made the latter stages of some Pro Tour events so it should be a fairly comfortable win for him. I’m going for a 3-0 win.

8:15pm: Ricardo Pietreczko v Xiaochen Zong

Pietreczko to win 3-1

Pietreczko had that brilliant third round match last year against Luke Humphries but it doesn’t feel like he’s pushed on this year. He’s made a final out on the Euro tour but that’s been the highlight.

Zong finished as the Chinese Premier League champion and he’s averaging around 89 for the season, which isn’t as high as Pietreczko.

It could be a tough task for him on the Ally Pally stage so I’m going for Pietreczko to win 3-1.

9:15pm: Ryan Meikle v Fallon Sherrock

Meikle to win 3-2

Meikle faces the Queen of the Palace Sherrock on Tuesday night and the gift for the winner is facing Luke Littler in the second round on Saturday.

Sherrock facing off against Littler would be brilliant for the sport and she’s had a good season but Meikle, especially in the last few weeks when beating Gary Anderson, has been brilliant.

He’s averaging 91 for the season which is nine higher than Sherrock. I don’t think the darts gods will be on our side.

Meikle should win but it could be tight as the crowd will be behind Sherrock. I’ll go with a 3-2 victory in a deciding set.

10:15pm: Peter Wright v Wesley Plaisier

Plaisier to win 3-2

This is a really tough one to call. Plaisier has been in good form but he was very edgy in his opening tie.

It went to a fifth set but I’m still siding with the Dutchman, however, I’m expecting another five-setter.

Wright has been averaging around 80 in his last five matches and I’m on Plaisier to win 3-2.

4/1
Wesley Plaisier 3-2 Correct Score
