Luke Humphries is the favourite to win the Paddy Power World Darts Championship after a simply incredible year on the oche.
‘Cool Hand Luke’ has not looked back since lifting the Sid Waddell Trophy at the start of the year by adding the World Matchplay, New Zealand Darts Masters and World Cup of Darts to his CV.
Humphries also reached the final of the UK Open, Premier League Darts and World Grand Prix, which suggests he is very much the player to beat, although there has not been a repeat winner since 2016.
