The Premier League travels to Berlin for Night Two with Michael Smith kicking things off with a win last week. The top two in the Order of Merit, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen, are yet to pick up points after defeats on Night 1, along with Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall.
Since then we’ve seen Stephen Bunting lifting his first major title in Milton Keynes. The Bullet won the Masters in emphatic style, beating no fewer than four Premier League players in Humphries, Wright, Aspinall and van Gerwen. If the PDC has any sense, they’ll introduce a 9th place in the Premier League immediately.
Assuming they don’t do that, here’s a look ahead at the four Quarter Finals currently scheduled for Night two.

7:15pm – Nathan Aspinall v Michael van Gerwen – Michael van Gerwen Most 180s & Win
Despite defeat in his quarterfinal last week, Michaeal van Gerwen has looked very dangerous of late, with only the great Stephen Bunting able to stop him in The Masters at the weekend. He was very solid in a narrow 6-5 defeat to Smith last week, rattling in five 180s and averaging 97.
Nathan Aspinall managed an 89 average last week against Price, despite hitting two 180s. He was also beaten by The Bullet at the weekend, suffering a comprehensive 11-1 defeat. With The Asp not playing his best stuff currently, it should be plain sailing for MvG.
7:45pm – Michael Smith v Gerwyn Price – Gerwyn Price -1.5
The second game of the night throws up a replay of last week’s final, which Michael Smith won by a comfortable 6-2. Bully Boy hasn’t been at his fluent best for a while now, and failing to average more than 98 last week suggest he still might not be there, despite winning it.
Price seemed to struggle with his scoring last week, failing to hit a 180 in two of his three matches, but still managed to post two 100+ averages. Despite last week’s result, Price goes into this one as favourite and I’d fancy him to sneak it 6-4 or better in Berlin.
8:15pm – Luke Littler v Rob Cross – Luke Littler Most 180s and Win Match
The two losing semi-finalists of Night 1 battle it out on Night 2 in Berlin. Of the two of them, it was Littler who put in the better losing performance last week, with six 180s and a 105 average somehow not enough to get past Michael Smith.
If the World Championships semi-final is anything to go by, this should be a high quality affair. After a tight first couple of sets, Luke “The Nuke” turned it on at Ally Pally and swept Rob Cross aside – with the most 180s to boot – and I’d expect the same to happen again tonight.
8:45pm – Luke Humphries v Peter Wright – 180s Handicap: Humphries -1.5
Luke Humphries struggled with crowd disruption last week, as he registered just 16% on the doubles against Luke Littler. The World Champion still scored fairly well, hitting three 180s, and will fancy himself to get back to winning ways. Humphries is such a heavy favourite in this one that even the match treble is an odds-on shot, so I’d much sooner back Humphries Most 180s at 1/3 than to Win at 1/7 given that Peter Wright has the lowest average 180s per leg of all eight players.
You can get 5/6 on the Most 180s (-1.5) handicap to complete the QF acca, but you might also take a look at the #WhatOddsPaddy – Luke Humphries to Win the Match and Throw 4+ 180s at an appealing 5/2.
