World Series of Darts Betting Tips

Best bet – Gerwyn Price
Each-way pick – Rob Cross

It’s 92 days until the Paddy Power World Darts Championship gets underway and here in Power Tower we’ve gone darts manic. The number crunchers have been studying every dart thrown by any darts player over the past 21 years and are sure they’ll be able to find the value ahead of the the sporting highlight of the year.

Before all of that though the World Series of Darts Finals take place this weekend in The AFAS Live arena from Amsterdam. The tournament will be broadcast live on ITV and those number crunchers I were telling you about? They’ve only gone and spilled the beans as to who the two to watch are at this weekends tournament.

Best Bet

Gerwyn Price

Last years World Series of Darts Finals winner Gerwyn Price is backed to continue in his rich vein of form.  The Iceman enters the tournament on the back of winning three out of the last four Pro Tour events driven by a return to scoring form. Price’s 180 hitting complemented by efficient D20 finishing leaves him eyeing retention of his crown.

Each Way

Rob Cross

Rob Cross should give punters a run in the top half of the draw. The former World Champion completed a World Series double Down Under last month which included a 7-0 semi-final whitewash over Peter Wright and an 8-1 hammering of Damon Heta in the final.

He’ll fancy his chances against Martin Schindler or an out-of-form Jonny Clayton in the Last 16 and if he continues his recent form then he can run this tournament close.
