7:10pm: Michael van Gerwen v Chris Dobey – Van Gerwen to Win & Have Most 180s

Michael van Gerwen v Chris Dobey kicks off Thursday night’s action as the league leader looks to bounce back from his surprise defeat against Jonny Clayton last week.

The Dutchman lost 6-5 in his only game last week, however, he still boats a five point lead ahead of Gerwyn Price at the top of the table.

We’re siding with Van Gerwen, who averages a league-high 98.28, to win against Dobey. The Englishman has won six games but he’s in the bottom three and he’s got a leg differential of -10.

Van Gerwen to Win isn’t worth backing at the odds so we’re adding in him to Have the Most 180s. He’s hit a league-high 51 and he can add to that tally on Thursday.

7:40pm: Nathan Aspinall v Jonny Clayton – Aspinall Most 180s

Next up is Nathan Aspinall v Jonny Clayton, which sees fourth host fifth in what should be a close affair in Birmingham.

Clayton will be full of confidence after winning last week’s night following victories over Van Gerwen, Price and Michael Smith.

Aspinall beat Dobey 6-4 last week before losing against Smith in the semi-final.

It looks hard to split them so we’re going to swerve picking a winner and instead back Aspinall Most 180s. He’s hit a second-best 45 during Premier League Darts and he averages 0.32 per leg, which is better than both Van Gerwen and Price.

8:10pm: Dimitri van den Bergh v Gerwyn Price – Price -1.5

Dimitri van den Bergh and Price face off in Birmingham with the Iceman flying. He’s won three nights and 12 games to leave him second behind Van Gerwen in the table.

Price beat Peter Wright 6-3 last week before suffering a surprise 6-4 loss against Clayton, who went on to win the night.

Van den Bergh, meanwhile, lost against Smith last week in his only game and the Belgian is still searching for his first night win having won only five matches.

All signs point to a Price win, however, the odds aren’t great. Instead, we’ll side with Price -1.5 on the Handicap.

8:40pm: Peter Wright v Michael Smith – Smith to Win & Have Most 180s

Finally, we’ve got Peter Wright v Michael Smith, with the former having a torrid time during Premier League Darts.

Wright has two points after winning just one match and he’s currently got a leg differential of -22.

Smith’s form is much better and he’s third in the table behind Van Gerwen and Price. He’s won nine games – and one night – to leave him on 15 points.

Bully Boy seems the likely winner considering he’s averaging 97.03, a tally only bettered by Van Gerwen. We’re going to go with Smith to Win & Have Most 180s to boost the odds.

Smith has hit 40 180s compared to Wright’s league-low 18 and the PDC World Champion also averages an impressive 0.30 180s per leg.
