7:10pm: Gerwyn Price v Peter Wright – Price to Win

Premier League Darts action returns on Thursday night in Brighton and Gerwyn Price v Peter Wright kicks off proceedings.

Wright is having a torrid time and he’s yet to win a game, leaving him with a leg differential of -10. He faces Price, who has won five games and one night.

Both players lost their one game last week but all signs point to a Price victory as a night win for the Welshman would see him move up to second behind Michael van Gerwen.

The Iceman has also hit 23 180s compared to Wright’s 11 so if you’re feeling brave you could chuck in Price to Win & Have the Most 180s.

7:40pm: Michael van Gerwen v Jonny Clayton – Van Gerwen to Win & Have Most 180s

Van Gerwen won week five after beating Price 6-3, Nathan Aspinall 6-4 and Jonny Clayton 6-3 in the final.

Van Gerwen, who has won two nights and nine games to give himself a six point lead at the top of the table, faces off against Clayton once again on Thursday.

The Dutchman averaged 97.45 last week against Clayton as well as hitting a highest checkout of 106 compared to the Welshman’s 24.

Van Gerwen will likely win once again but he’s not worth getting behind at the odds so we’re on Van Gerwen to Win & Have Most 180s. He has the highest tournament average of 99.03 and he’s hit the Most 180s (33) so it looks a smart bet.

8:10pm: Chris Dobey v Nathan Aspinall – Aspinall to Win

Next up is Chris Dobey v Nathan Aspinall, which sees second bottom face off against third.

While Dobey is further down the table, he’s won one night, however, he’s won three games compared to Aspinall’s five.

Dobey lost his only game last week against Dimitri van den Bergh, while Aspinall reached the semi-finals where he lost 6-4 against night winner Van Gerwen.

The statistics for both players are very similar so it could be a tight affair but we’re siding with Aspinall to brush off his Van Gerwen defeat last week to bounce back against Dobey.

8:40pm: Michael Smith v Dimitri van den Bergh – Smith -1.5 Handicap

Finally, we’ve got Michael Smith v Dimitri van den Bergh to cap off Thursday night’s action.

PDC World Champion Smith is second behind Van Gerwen having won five games and one night to leave him on nine points.

He was disappointing last week when losing 6-3 against Aspinall, however, he still has the second highest average (97.89) and the joint-highest 100+ checkouts and legs won with a 100+ checkout.

Van den Bergh has impressed in spells but he’s still searching for his first night win and he faces an uphill task to beat Smith.

Instead of backing Smith to Win, we’re on Smith -1.5 on the Handicap betting to boost the odds.
