7:10pm: Peter Wright v Michael van Gerwen – Peter Wright Most 180s, High Checkout and Win
World Champion Peter Wright has continued his form early in the year. He won the first Premier League night last week and continued that form over the weekend with a win and runners up spot in two tour events. Michael van Gerwen on the other hand has not shown great form recently and another defeat could be on the cards here. With the form Wright is in, I believe he can have most 180s and highest checkout as well as winning the game at what looks an attractive price.

8:15pm: James Wade v Joe Cullen – James Wade to Win
It can often take new players some time to get used to the demands of the Premier League and as the only debutant this year it could be worth opposing Joe Cullen at the start of this year’s competition. He didn’t perform well in a loss to Jonny Clayton last week and James Wade will be able to take advantage if he struggles again on the big stage. Wade may not hit the high averages but he’s tough to beat unless you are on top form and I’m happy to take a chance on his greater experience at odds against.

8:45pm: Gary Anderson v Gerwyn Price – Gary Anderson to Win Week 2 Outright
Gary Anderson showed good form on the opening night last week beating Michael van Gerwen and being slightly unlucky to lose out to Peter Wright in a last-leg decider. He has a tough opening game against Gerwyn Price but when Anderson is in form, he is a match for anyone, so the price here looks too big for the two-time world champion to take the overall victory on the night.
