Darts tips: Our trader’s 5/2 Sunday double for the PDC World Darts Championship

It’s always great to get the darts back after Christmas.

12:15 Krzysztof Ratajski v Simon Whitlock: Whitlock to win

While this game should be a very tight affair – as both players performed well in their opening matches – I have to go with the experience Simon Whitlock possesses to come out on top in this one. Ratajski doesn’t have the big stage know-how Whitlock has, even though he’s been quite a consistent performer at lower-level PDC events.

But, Ratajski hasn’t really carried that form through onto the TV stage and that why I fancy The Wizard to win here, advancing into the last 16 as a result.

13:30 Kim Huybrechts v Ryan Searle: Huybrechts to get the most 180s

I fancy a slightly different bet to the opening game here, and I’m going to tip Kim Huybrechts to land the most 180s in the contest. If you look at the tournament stats for the two games they’ve played so far, Huybrechts has scored 13 maximums to only seven for Ryan Searle.

The Belgian should be able to carry on that good scoring form here and, while Searle has been very good on his doubles, he’s struggled a bit to hit the 180s. Huybrechts to come out on top in the 180 count looks like a solid bet here.

Darts tips summary:

Krzysztof Ratajski v Simon Whitlock: Whitlock to win
Kim Huybrechts v Ryan Searle: Huybrechts to get the most 180s

* A double on these two best bets pays at approximately 5/2 with Paddy Power.
