Darts Tips: Dave Clark gives us his Semi-Final Selections for Wednesday’s PDC Home Tour Action

Sky Sports Presenter Dave Clarke gives his selections on tonight's action at the semi-final stage of the PDC at home tour.

Big names in action in semi-finals night later, which will take place over the next two nights. Top seeds qualify for finals night on Friday. A quick reflection on what happened yesterday: Jonny Clayton cruised through to the semi-finals winning all of his games. Our tip Scott Waites did well winning two matches but defeat to Clayton cost him yesterday. Two players qualify from each of the championship semi-final groups so let’s have a look at the action…

19.35 Gary Anderson V Mike De Decker

Kicking off the night is Anderson going up against De Decker. The Belgian youngster has had his moments in this tournament but he is not in the same class as Anderson, the Flying Scotsman is in great form in this tournament. He has won all 6 of his matches and only dropped four legs first time out. He then had a 100% record second time out so Anderson rightly the favourite and for him to win this one 6-3 is 4/1.

20.05 Dave Chisnall V Jelle Klaasen

Klaasen has had some impressive wins in this tournament so far including a 6-1 win against Peter Wright. Chizzy comes into this game in red hot form so I’m expecting plenty of legs. Over 9.5 legs in the total legs market looks good to me at Even money. Chizzy to win this on a 6-4 scoreline is 9/2.

20.35 Mike De Decker V Jelle Klaasen

Should be quite an evenly matched contest this one but looking at the head to head records Klaasen is the strong favourite and it is hard to argue. I’m expecting De Decker to put up a bit of a fight but I fancy a 6-3 win to Klaasen here at 11/2.

21.05 Gary Anderson V Dave Chisnall

Then on to match of the night. A real humdinger. When you look at the head to head records, out of their 24 meetings Anderson has won 18 of them. Both players like to smash in the 180s so over 5.5 180s in the match is 5/6. Anderson to win is 4/6 and it is tempting but I like the look of a 6-4 scoreline to the Flying Scotman at 5/1.

21.35 Dave Chisnall V Mike De Decker

I’ m expecting Chizzy to bounce back after his defeat to Anderson. De Decker could easily be on the end of a bit of a pummeling here. Chizzy with a 6-2 win here is 5/1.

22.05 Jelle Klaasen V Gary Anderson

This will be a great match to round off the night. Both players love this format and I expect a 180 fest but I do think Anderson will just edge it. A 6-4 win to Anderson is 9/2.

Dave Clark Best Bets:

In terms of my bets of the night, I fancy:

Anderson to win the group @ Evens
Over 5.5 180s @ Evens in the Anderson V Chizzy match
Anderson to win @ 8/13 against Chizzy.
