Darts Tips: Dave Clark’s best bets for tonight’s PDC Home Tour matches

Chizzy's gonna be a rascal to take on tonight

dave-clark

Well folks, I got four predictions of six correct last night so we are going pretty well – and Gary Anderson’s internet held up which was good news. The Scot had previously pulled out of the tournament with broadband issues but he maintained his unbeaten record and kicked off with a 6-2 win over Welshman Nick Kenny.

He then thumped Luke Humphries 6-1 with an average of over 110.1, ridiculous scoring from Anderson. He booked his place in the semi-final playoffs beating Jamie Lewis 6-3 – but tonight is all about Dave Chisnall.

Dave Chisnall v Damon Heta

Chizzy, World Number 11, is my tip to win the tournament but it won’t be easy as he has some tough matches to get through today. Heta ‘The Heat’, from Perth, Australia, is up first and he had to keep himself awake with loads of coffee last time we saw him in action due to the time difference.

He won the Brisbane Darts masters beating some top opponents and is ranked 108th, but ignore that standing because he doesn’t play in the UK often so can’t get his ranking up. Chizzy will be pushed in this one but I think a 6-4 win for him looks good here.

Darren Webster V Geert Nentjes

I am expecting a tight game between these two. Both players had a 100% record in the group stages. Nentjes is a 21-year old Dutchman who is ranked just outside the top 100. He’s up and coming and I see another tight match here. A 6-4 win to Webster is my tip.

Damon Heta V Geert Nentjes

These two have only played once before and it was Heta who came out on top. I fancy the Aussie to win this one 6-3.

Dave Chisnall V Darren Webster

Webster has a pretty decent head to head record against Chizzy. He has won three of the eight matches they have played.  This will probably be tight. There’s actually a bit of value on backing Webster at around 2/1. I wouldn’t put you off that but Chizzy, for me, will squeeze a 6-4 win.

Darren Webster V Damon Heta

Heta is a pretty prolific 180 scorer so I fancy him to get the most treble 20s, but I actually like Webster to win the match.

Geert Nentjes V Dave Chisnall

Chizzy is the red-hot favourite to win this and I expect him to do so comfortably 6-3.

My treble of the day is a Chizzy one! Chizzy to win his three matches. I’m predicting 6-4 v Heta, 6-4 v Webster and 6-3 v Nentjes! It works out a just over 136/1 and if that comes in we can all retire! Best of luck with your bets folks and stay safe.
