Last night Jelle Klaasen was the first player to secure a semi-final spot in the PDC Home Tour after thrashing World Champion Peter Wright 6-1.
Snakebite couldn’t hit a dart yesterday. It was a poor performance when he averaged middle to low 80s in every match. My top tip was Cristo Reyes, and the Spaniard agonising close to qualifying, missing out only on legs difference.

Looking ahead to today’s action, and a couple of big names are in action including Glen Durrant, Stephen Bunting and Alan Tabern.
Stephen Bunting v Mike de Decker
De Decker, from Belgium, is nicknamed the ‘Real Deal’ and has ground his way through the development tours. He is a decent player and played well in the group stage. He’s won his last two matches against Bunting, who himself was impressive in Group 18. Despite that, I’m backing De Decker to cause an upset here, and to win a tight match 6– 4 @ 13/2.
Glen Durrant v Alan Tabern
Durrant is the red-hot favourite here. He averaged just shy of 100 when winning all three matches to qualify for the playoffs. Tabern won a group which contained Simon Whitlock so he’ll be no pushover and will put up a fight here. But I fancy Durrant most 180s, highest checkout and to win the match.
Mike De Decker v Alan Tabern
Tabern qualified on the first attempt where it took De Decker two, so I’m going for Tabern to win this one. He played well in the group stages last time and Tabern to win is a decent price @ 6/4.
Stephen Bunting v Glen Durrant
These two have an evenly balanced head-to-head record, although they haven’t met in a long time. Durrant is a player on the way up and, I hate to say it, I think Bunting is a little on the way down. Durrant to win the match, have the most 180s and highest checkout is at @ 7/2.

Durrant is the stronger player by far, and I’d expect him to outscore De Decker, so again Durrant to win, have the most 180s and highest checkout @ 3/1.
Alan Tabern v Stephen Bunting
Bunting has already beaten Tabern twice this year, so I’m going for Bunting to put in a decent performance in this match with a 6-3 victory.
And my Bet of the Day…
Who else but Glen Durrant?
He’s a good price to win all three matches with the highest checkout and the most 180s tonight. Enjoy the action!
