Darts tips: Dave Clark’s best bets for EVERY PDC Home Tour match tonight

Sky Sports presenter Dave runs us through Wednesday's action

Before we look ahead to tonight’s action, let’s have a brief look at what happened last night.

Belgium ace Mike de Decker topped the group beating Steve Brown 5-2. He had to win by that margin to qualify, and despite Brown putting up a brave battle, De Decker’s quality checkouts under pressure got him the win.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com

There’s some interesting matches on the line-up tonight, with two World Champions in Steve Beaton and Scott Waites getting us underway.

Steve Beaton v Scott Waites

Steve ‘The Bronze Adonis’ Beaton finished second in Group 13, after only winning one match. He’s the narrow favourite here, with Scott Waites the outsider, but I fancy Scotty 2 Hotty for the win.

The two-time World Champion from Bradford has only lost to Dave Chisnall so far, who was playing out of his skin way back on Day 3.

A 5-3 victory is 7/2 and my bet of the day is Scott Waites to beat Steve Beaton @ EVS.

Ross Smith v Ron Meulenkamp

Smith, 31, was a BDO World Championship quarter-finalist back in 2011, and only won one match when playing on Day 4.

Dutch player Meulenkamp is a good player, heavy scoring with eight 180s last time and winning two out of three matches.

I’m going for Meulenkamp here with a combination of most 180s, highest checkout and to win the match @ 7/2.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com

Scott Waites v Ron Meulenkamp

Looking at the head-to-head records, Waites has won all three of their previous meetings so I’m in favour of him at 4/5. That said, 10/11 is a decent price for Meulenkamp and he will turn it into a battle.

But for me Waites should have too much for him and I like a 5-4 victory @ 5/1.

Steve Beaton v Ross Smith

This could be the tightest match of the night, Beaton (4/6) and Smith (11/10).

The value is with Smith to win 5-4 @ 4/1.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com

Ross Smith v Scott Waites

Waites has won two of their three meetings, but Smith won the most recent one convincingly.

I’m going for Smith again. He is improving and full of confidence. A 5-3 win is 7/1.

Ron Meulenkamp v Steve Beaton.

Meulenkamp has won the last two meetings so I’m backing him to do the business again.  Beaton is favourite to win the group but I don’t think he will perform today.

A 5-3 victory to Meulenkamp is 7/2.
