Watch Again: Phil Taylor v Fallon Sherrock in our big Darts From Home clash

Can fab Fallon fell Phil?

The King and Queen of darts will do battle today in the latest of our Darts From Home series, having previously gone head-to-head last week.

Fallon Sherrock, who was dubbed ‘The Queen of the Palace’ during her ground-breaking run at the PDC World Championships last year will again tackle 16-time winner Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor.

We’ve previously hosted matches between Wayne Bridge and Jamie Redknapp, Taylor and old rival Raymond van Barneveld and The Power against back-to-back BDO Women’s World Champion Mikuru Suzuki.

But now it’s once again time to test himself against the hugely popular Sherrock, who became the first female player to beat a man at the World Championships when seeing off Ted Evetts in the first-round.

She followed up that opening win by defeating Mensur Suljovic before her run came to an end in the third-round against Chris Dobey.

As with all our Darts From Home matches, the first player to seven legs will win – with money raised for charity throughout.

We’ll be donating £1,000 for every 180 hit and £200 for every first dart finish. Taylor’s match with Van Barneveld raised £15,000 for charity.

Using an interactive Target Nexus dartboard, the pair will be able to play remotely. Because the board allows players to interact and see each other play, it means the match can take place with Phil at home in Stoke, while Sherrock is spending lockdown in Milton Keynes.

We might not have a packed Alexandra Palace to roar on the new Queen of Darts, but the same standard of darts can be expected, with high-scoring practically guaranteed, as the entire bullseye (including outer and as well as inner bull) is worth 50 in soft-tip darts.

The clash will be filmed on mounted iPhones sent to both players and will be available to view on ours and Target Darts’ social media channels from 7pm on Thursday 14th May.

Game on!
