He no longer works as a housing officer and it’s no surprise with the darts he produced, averaging about a 100 in each of his matches. It was really good darts and he could go onto to win this tournament outright.
He was also hinted tongue-in-cheek last night that he should be awarded the Premier League title. He currently leads it by a point and it’s not clear whether it will continue or not. But he’s full of life, full of spirit and full of great darts.
Cullen ‘the Rockstar’ from Bradford has qualified nine times for the World Championships and is a former UK Open quarter-finalist. Murray is a player I don’t know a whole lot about, other than he’s nicknamed ‘Top Gun’ and is from Edinburgh.
He was on the receiving end of two 9-darters from Michael van Gerwin in the UK Open qualifiers but earned his tour card earlier in the year, and you’ve got to be a good player to do that.
Wattimena is a 32-year-old player from the Netherlands dubbed ‘the Machine Gun’ because he throws so quickly. He’s a Grand Prix Quarter-finalist and is playing from his home in Athens tonight. He’s a three-time World Championship qualifier but has never done anything in the Worlds.
The match of the night folks as the big guns collide – The Rockstar against the Machine Gun!
I’m going for a Wattimena victory here at 11/10. I think it’s a great bet and my NAP selection. In terms of a correct scoreline, I’m expecting a tight match. So, a 5-4 win to the Dutchman looks good at 7/1.
Tonight’s treble
For tonight’s treble, the first leg is my NAP of Wattimena at 11/10 to beat Cullen. The second leg is Cullen to beat Michael 5-3 at 100/30 and in the last leg, I’ll stick in Murray to beat Michael 5-3 at 6/1.

Three-time back-to-back BDO World Champion Glen Durrant did us proud last night, with yesterday’s NAP for him to win all three of his matches and him doing just that.
He no longer works as a housing officer and it’s no surprise with the darts he produced, averaging about a 100 in each of his matches. It was really good darts and he could go onto to win this tournament outright.

Right, on to today’s line-up…
19.35 – Joe Cullen v Ryan Murray
Cullen ‘the Rockstar’ from Bradford has qualified nine times for the World Championships and is a former UK Open quarter-finalist. Murray is a player I don’t know a whole lot about, other than he’s nicknamed ‘Top Gun’ and is from Edinburgh.
He was on the receiving end of two 9-darters from Michael van Gerwin in the UK Open qualifiers but earned his tour card earlier in the year, and you’ve got to be a good player to do that.
I expect Murray to put up a battle, but I fancy a 5-4 victory to Cullen at 7/2.
20.05 Jermaine Wattimena v John Michael
Wattimena is a 32-year-old player from the Netherlands dubbed ‘the Machine Gun’ because he throws so quickly. He’s a Grand Prix Quarter-finalist and is playing from his home in Athens tonight. He’s a three-time World Championship qualifier but has never done anything in the Worlds.
Despite that I fancy Wattimena to turn on the style with a 5-2 victory which is 16/5.

I’m expecting Michael to put up a battle here but I think he’ll just come up short.
