Stephen Bunting was on fire last night with three wins out of three. He was 4-2 down in his opening match and came back to win it 5-4. He then destroyed Kim Huybrechts 5-1 in a match we expected to be a bit tighter.
In other news from the PDC home tour, Jeffrey de Zwaan has had to withdraw with a shoulder injury. He has been replaced by fellow Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena for tomorrow’s matches while there are two more Dutchman in action today.
One of them is Vincent van der Meer. He faces Glen Durrant in the opener. Durrant is a three-time BDO World Champion and won a World Masters on two occasions.
His opponent is Van der Meer, who I don’t know a whole lot about. He’s 39 years of age and won his tour card last year but I haven’t seen a lot of him on the circuit. By all accounts he’s a good player but I fancy Durrant to win the opener. I’m going with a 5-3 win to the Middlesbrough man at 5/1.
Justin Pipe ‘the force’ is a former Grand Prix semi-finalist but he’s slipped down the rankings recently. He hasn’t been in great form and is now down to 56th in the world.
Kuivenhoven is a 31-year old who won his tour card back in 2019. I think the Dutchman is a great price here at Even money giving Pipe is a little out of sorts. In terms of a correct score I like Kuivenhoven to win this one 5-4 at 13/2. Decent price.
Then we have a battle of the Dutchmen here. A Dutch derby. I think Kuivenhoven will win a tight match here with Dutch pride on the line. I fancy the red-hot favourite to beat Van der Meer 5-3 at 7/2.
Durrant is in fine form at the moment. He’s been practicing hard and has a great setup at home. He’s been working hard on his game and is a real grinder of a player. I fancy Durrant to demolish Pipe here 5-2 at 100/30. This is my NB.
My treble of the day is the Glen Durrant three timer folks. This is my NAP of the day. I think Durrant will shine tonight with a hat-trick of wins. Paddy Power have an enhanced Power Price for the treble on their website. Durrant to win all three of his matches was 13/10 and is now 17/10. Looks like value to me! Best of luck with your bets guys and stay safe.
