Darts tips: Dave Clark’s three best bets for Saturday’s PDC Home Tour action

dave-clark

We predicted a perfect night for Darren Webster last night and he did just that with three wins, albeit he was made to work very hard for them. He was 4-1 down in his opener and brought (his own) house down with a comeback win!

The PDC have announced next week’s fixtures, with three-time BDO World Champion Glen Durrant in action, along with ‘Big John’ Henderson from Scotland and another former BDO World Champion in Steve Bunting.

That’s for us to look forward to for next week, but now on to tonight’s action…

19.35 – Ricky Evans v Martin Atkins

Opening up the night’s matches is ‘Rapid Ricky’ Evans as he takes on Martin Atkins.

Atkins, 54, is a former BDO World Championship quarter-finalist, and the man from Leeds looks a big price to me at 9/4.

‘Rapid Ricky’ throws so quickly, but I feel he struggles to find his rhythm sometimes and I think Atkins can do a job on him.

My NAP of the night is in this match folks! Martin Atkins to beat Evans 5-3 is a huge price at 9/1 and my bet of the day!

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com

20.05 – Christian Bunse v Jeff Smith

I haven’t seen a lot of Bunse, a 25-year-old player from Germany. He’s ranked just inside the top 200 in the world but hasn’t played on the TV so I’ve never seen him in the flesh.

Smith is a decent player. He made the semi-final of the 2015 World Championships and we saw him in the World Cup of Darts partnering fellow Canadian John Barton. Smith also made the last 16 of the Grand Slam as well.

Smith should be comfortable here. A 5-2 victory for the Canadian is 11/2. This is my NB.

Tonight’s treble

Well, my treble today folks looks juicy at a huge price!

The first leg of the showstopper is my bet of the day. Atkins to beat Evans in the opener is 9/1.

The second leg of the treble is Jeff Smith to beat Martin Atkins 5-3 at 3/1 and then in the last leg, I fancy Atkins to beat Christian Bunce 5-4 at 13/2.

That works out at 299/1! Best of luck with your bets folks and stay safe.
