Day 14 of the PDC Home Tour is upon us folks, but first of all let’s take stock of what happened last night where World No.89 Chris Wilkinson stormed through with three good wins to top the group.
Remember Matthew Edgar, who we talked about yesterday, the one with his own YouTube channel? Well after he beat former World Champion Steve Beaton 5-1, he put a boxing belt over his shoulder, basically declaring himself the new World Champion! Matthew is a real character and was he was chatting away afterwards on a real high from his win.
We now look ahead to today’s action and I feel it might be a day for the Irish…
The highlight of today is Chris ‘Hollywood’ Dobey, from Bedlington in the North East. We have seen him as a challenger in the Premier League over the past two years, and he also made the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix in 2019.
Tonight he takes on 21-year-old Ciaran Teehan, from Cork. He’s a World Masters quarter-finalist, and we also saw him at the World Championship where he put up a really good battle when losing 3-2 to Mervyn King. Teehan is also a PDC Challenge tour winner.
Leung is a 36-year old from Hong Kong. He came through qualifying beating Lisa Ashton 5-4 at Q-School, in what was a really tight and tense match.
But I fancy ‘The Bomb’ from the Netherlands to snatch it. I have seen him at the World Championships four times, but he’s never made it past the last 64. However, I still fancy him to win here comfortably.
Irish fans will be delighted to hear I fancy their boy here again! I think this game is going to be another tight tense affair but I think the 21-year old Corkman will come out the right side of a good battle.
The first leg is Ciaran Teehan to win his first match against Chris Dobey 5-3 at 7/1. The second leg is Ron Meulenkamp to beat Kai Fan Leung 5-2 at 11/2 and to round it off I’m putting in Ciaran Teehan just to beat Ron Meulenkamp at 6/4.
Teehan is a young hungry player and has put in decent performances on the circuit, as well as that gutsy display at the World Championship when he narrowly lost to Mervyn King. That’s why I fancy the Irishman to deliver the goods tonight.

7.30pm: Chris Dobey v Ciaran Teehan
The highlight of today is Chris ‘Hollywood’ Dobey, from Bedlington in the North East. We have seen him as a challenger in the Premier League over the past two years, and he also made the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix in 2019.
Tonight he takes on 21-year-old Ciaran Teehan, from Cork. He’s a World Masters quarter-finalist, and we also saw him at the World Championship where he put up a really good battle when losing 3-2 to Mervyn King. Teehan is also a PDC Challenge tour winner.
I’m going to go for a 5-3 win for Teehan at a massive 7/1. This is my NB and let’s hope Irish eyes will be smiling after it!

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com8pm: Ron Meulenkamp v Kai Fan Leung

A 5-2 win for Meulenkamp is 6/1.
8.20pm: Ciaran Teehan v Kai Fan Leung
Irish fans will be delighted to hear I fancy their boy here again! I think this game is going to be another tight tense affair but I think the 21-year old Corkman will come out the right side of a good battle.
A 5-4 win to Teehan is 5/1.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com9.10pm: Ron Meulenkamp v Ciaran Teehan
I fancy Teehan to be the man of the day and to land the hat-trick here.
I strongly fancy Teehan to win. He is 6/4 to win this match and that looks like value to me! In-fact this is my NAP of the day folks.
Tonight’s Treble
My treble for the day is a real cracker.
The treble works out at around 130/1.
Teehan is a young hungry player and has put in decent performances on the circuit, as well as that gutsy display at the World Championship when he narrowly lost to Mervyn King. That’s why I fancy the Irishman to deliver the goods tonight.
Best of luck with your bets folks and stay safe.
