Darts Tips: Dave Clark’s predictions for tonight’s Icons of Darts matches

Three world champions in competition this evening, but who's worth backing?

18.25 Scott Mitchell V Ritchie Edhouse

Mitchell played well yesterday. Edhouse struggled with just one win. Mitchell had a magnificent 102 average when he beat Edhouse yesterday with 5-3 win. He hit 5 out of his 6 doubles. I can’t see anything but a Mitchell win here. 5-2 win to Mitchell is 9/2.

18.50 Wessel Nijman V Martin Adams

The 19-year old Dutchman is the red-hot favourite here. Nijman beat Adams 5-2 yesterday to top the group. A 5-2 victory for Nijman is 100/30.

19.15 Raymond van Barneveld V Scott Mitchell

Another battle of former World Champions here. Mitchell with a 5-3 victory is 9/2 here.

19.40 Ritchie Edhouse V Wessel Nijman

We saw Edhouse ‘the madhouse’ lost to James Wade in the second round of the World Championship. Nijman won 5-3 when they met yesterday. He hit five 180s. Averaged 98.8. A 5-3 victory for Nijman today is 9/2.

20.05 Martin Adams V Scott Mitchell

Mitchell white-washed Adams yesterday. Sealed it with a 128 check out. Mitchell with a 5-2 victory today is 7/2.

20:30 Raymond van Barneveld V Ritchie Edhouse

Barney should have his mojo by now. He should put on a decent display. A Barney win here I fancy. 5-3 Barney win is 9/2.

20:55 Wessel Nijman V Scott Mitchell

Tight one this. Both played well yesterday. Nijman with a 5-4 victory is 9/2.

21:20 Martin Adams V Ritchie Edhouse

Adams beat Edhouse 5-1 yesterday throwing three 180s. I think there is a bit of value with Adams at Evens here. So, Adams to beat Edhouse in the penultimate clash of the evening.

21:45 Raymond van Barneveld V Wessel Nijman

A Dutch dust-up to round off the night here. I like the look of a 5-3 Nijman win here at 7/2.
