We’re lucky enough to have Dave Clark on the roster for the all the drama at the World Darts Championship, and who better to ask about all the darting drama.

Dave knows his arrows inside-out, so we’ve put his knowledge to the test and asked him for his insight into Sunday’s afternoon session at Ally Pally.

Here’s who Dave fancies:

First Round Matches
Kyle Anderson v Xiaochen Zong, 12.15pm

Xiaochen Zong is making his second appearance at the Ally Pally, but don’t expect much from the Chinese player here. The Original Anderson from Australia hit a nine-darter in 2013 against Ian White in the Worlds, and this match is only going one way – The Aussie’s.

Kyle Anderson won’t drop a set in this and should land a 3-0 victory at 5/6.

Ross Smith v Ciaran Teehan, 13.40pm

Smith is 1/3, while Ciaran Teehan is 9/4 or thereabouts. The 20-year-old from Cork qualified through the PDC development tour rankings. He’s coming on and is a good little player.

Smith is a 30-year-old making his third appearance. He was beaten in 3-0 by Daryl Gurney here last year, and I fancy Teehan to knock Ross the Boss out this year.

Brendan Dolan v Nitin Kumar, 2.35pm

Nitin Kumar comes from New Dehli in India and was here last year when he went out in the first round to the experienced Jeffrey de Zwaan.

Brendan Dolan should make it two Irish winners in the session. If he does what he can, The History Maker destroys Kumar in this match and can score a 3-0 scoreline at 8/11.

Second Round Match
Ian White v Labanauskas, 3.30pm

Ian “Diamond” White is in a tough section of the draw. He is playing decent darts at the moment but seems to struggle to get past quarter-finals at events.

He made the last eight in 2014 and should get past his second-round opponent here at 3/10.
