Grand Prix of Darts: Our Traders are Loving this 7/1 First Round Treble

First round, here we go folks

Rob Cross v Mensur Suljovic

We fancy last years semi-finalist Mensur Suljovic against Rob Cross at 11/10.

Cross has had an awful time at this event the last two years losing to Steve Beaton in the first round on both occasions. The double-in format really suits Suljovic with his brilliant stats at hitting double 14.

Michael van Gerwen v Jamie Hughes

MVG just hasn’t been the force of old this year. Despite picking up the world championships at the beginning of the year, he has struggled with his form. On the other hand, Jamie Hughes has had an excellent first year since gaining his PDC Tour card in cue-school picking up a European Tour title along the way. We fancy the ex-BDO player to push MVG all the way – We think Jamie Hughes +1.5 at EVS represents some value.

John Henderson v James Wade

Big John Henderson finds himself drawn against the man we have tipped for the tournament in James Wade, and although we don’t fancy him to win the match we would expect plenty of 180s from him – We think John Henderson Most 180’s at 10/11 is value.

Traders’ Treble pays 7/1:

Jamie Hughes +1.5 at EVS
Mensur Suljovic to beat Rob Cross at 11/10.
John Henderson Most 180’s at 10/11
