Ryan Searle v William O’Connor 19.15pm
I’ve been very impressed with William O’Connor and his latest victory over James Wilson on Wednesday has given the Irishman real confidence.
It should be a tight game as Ryan Searle won’t rollover and have his tummy ticked – but I favour the the Co. Limerick man to win by a single set.
Verdict: O’Connor to win 4-3 @ 9/2.

The former champ Gary Anderson is a class act but you don’t need me to tell you that and he’s priced 1/14 to win this match.
For me it’s Anderson all the way against the man whose making his fifth appearance at the World Darts Championship.
Verdict: I’m going for Anderson to pull off the 4-0 whitewash at 11/8.
Michael van Gerwen v Max Hopp 21:45
The ‘Maximiser’ form Germany recently smashed his way into the world’s top 32 and will make a game of it but MVG should be way too strong.
The dual world champion has set his sights on a third title after victories in 2014 and 2017 and told me he was determined to win it again this year when I spoke to him a few weeks ago.
Verdict: A 4-1 victory for Mighty MVG is 23/10 and he should progress comfortably.
