Get on Dave Clark’s deadly darts double for Wednesday’s Ally Pally action

Australia's most extravagrantly coiffured dartist hits the stage tonight and Dave Clark expects a wondrous performance from The Wizard...

James Wilson v William O’Connor

The Jammy Dodger from Huddersfield is a BDO World Trophy and Grand Prix quarter-finalist, and has now climbed into the top 32 in the world.

Wiliam O’Connor was a comfortable 3-0 winner in the first round against Dutchman Yordi Meeuwisse, and Irish fans may fancy a tickle on him in this one.

He was sponsored by Phil Taylor a few years ago, but never really caught fire, but his career is starting to go in the right direction recently.

Wilson should be too classy for him though at 1/2. This should be a relatively comfortable win for him.

Simon Whitlock v Ryan Joyce

Joyce knocked out Anastasia Dobromyslova 3-0 in the first round, putting up check outs of 122 and 106 in doing it.

The 32-year-old from Newcastle looked very comfortable in a big game against Anastasia with a lot of pressure on him, but his Russian opponent never really turned up.

I’d look at Aussie Whitlock here, and a 3-0 win should be in reach at 15/8 as he’s playing really well.

He was 2010 World Championship finalist and has reached three finals on the 2018 PDC tour, including the European Championship final.

He’s looking good this year and could have a run at the title in him here.
