Champions League Darts: The best bets from the traders for Day Two

Prepare yourself for another cracker of a day in Brighton ....

Mensur Suljovic v Simon Whitlock

Mensur has undoubtedly had Whitlock’s number on the last couple of occasions (last time out hammering him 8-3 in the Danish Darts Open Final) and could steam through him again after some very promising form today, a decent punt is on the Suljovic handicap -2.5 at EVS.

Peter Wright v Rob Cross

Something seemed amiss with Cross yesterday, he never looked quite comfortable out there and seemed to struggle to find any rhythm in his throw. We would have to fancy Wright at EVS.

Another bet in this game would be on Wright Most 180’s at 13/10 – He has new darts this weekend and hit 14 180’s in his two games today, so they are clearly working in that department.

Daryl Gurney v Dave Chisnall

Gurney far from disgraced himself in his opener, beating the world number 2 in Gary Anderson and managing to push MVG all the way. Chizzy was on the other end of the spectrum and really struggled out there. He also looks like he may be bearing an injury as he was filmed clinching his back. On the back of this I find it tough to fancy him, so the recommended bet would be Gurney on the match price at 8/13, or Handicap -1.83 at 5/6

Michael van Gerwen v Gary Anderson

MVG was very impressive yesterday, although losing focus towards the end of his match against Gurney, he looked by far the better of the two. But Gary often saves his best for MVG and he may have the crowd. It could turn into a real tussle. Recommended bet is Total Legs Over 16.5 at 11/10
