Raymond van Barneveld v Daryl Gurney: Van Barneveld to win – 11/10
If you’ve been gnawing your flights in frustration, longing for big time darts – don’t worry. The Premier League of Darts returns to our screens tonight and this contest is as intriguing as it gets.
You’ve got a first ballot darts hall of famer in Raymond van Barneveld, taking on one of the game’s fastest rising stars and Premier League debutant Daryl Gurney.
Gurney’s win at World Grand Prix in Dublin back in October has shot him all the way into fifth in the world rankings and a sneaky outside fancy in this one at 17/10.
However, Barney was a whisker away from toppling world number one Michael van Gerwen before falling to a 5-4 defeat in sets in the World Championship quarter-finals and we reckon his experience with count for something here.
The legendary Dutchman holds a 3-1 winning record between the pair and we fancy him to be hearing ‘game shot’ tomorrow night at 11/10.

Gary Anderson v Michael Smith: Michael Smith (+2.5) legs – 10/11
The Flying Scotsman has had his wings clipped slightly of late, losing semi-finals at the World Championship and the Masters respectively.
The two-time world champion will surely be happy to be appearing in last fours, but what will concern him most is his failure in both loses to break the 100-point average mark.
He faces off against the free-scoring Michael Smith tonight in what promises to be a total 180-fest on the Dublin stage.
Bully Boy will be hoping to muscle in on an eye-catching victory at 7/2 tonight, after unluckily losing out to Mensur Suljović at the Masters.
Don’t forget, Smith very nearly took the scalp of new world champion Rob Cross before he went on to claim the title and we reckon he’ll stick close to Anderson later this evening. That’s why the 10/11 punt of Smith (+2.5) legs at 10/11 looks a bullseye bet.
