PDC World Championship: Check out this last 16 5/1 double from our traders

Settle in, stick on the kettle and hopefully we can all cheers a brew to never seeing Phil Taylor again....

8.30pm: Phil Taylor v Keegan Brown

It’s down the last 16 and we’re one step closer to seeing the back of Phil Taylor forever – the excitement! The world’s most humble sports person is chasing his 17th World Darts Championship and comes into this match on the back of dominating Justin Pipe 4-0 in what was a fairly hostile reception for Pipe after his ‘coughgate’ incident.

Phil has admittedly said he’s not at his best and averaged 96 in his opening round fixture and then 99 against Pipe. Yes, he beat Pipe handy on paper but Pipe missed a handful of chances.

Brown is possibly Phil’s biggest fan. He’s said he’s read his autobiography 20 million times – that’s time you just won’t get back Keegs, what the f*ck were you thinking?! But despite the severe admiration on behalf of Brown, he won’t be overawed coming into this. His head to head with Phil is 2-2 so he’ll take confidence from that and we fancy him to grab a set – and unfortunately Phil to go through.

Bet: Phil Taylor to beat Keegan Brown 4-1 – 9/4

9.45pm Gary Anderson v Steve West

Two time winner Gary Anderson has been playing some great darts at the moment despite dropping a set against Paul Lim. His opponent Steve West is enjoying his best run in the tournament after only taking seven attempts to get through the first round.

He was slow off the mark against Jermaine Wattimena but scrambled back well and won nine out of next ten legs after Wattimena threw six wayward darts to miss claiming the opening set.

Anderson will be coming out, as always, to ‘House of Pain’ and we sense it’s going to be just that for Steve West. Gary Anderson to go through blemish free is the call here.

Bet: Gary Anderson to beat Steve West 4-0 – 5/6

The Double pays 5/1:

Phil Taylor to beat Kevin Brown 4-1 – 9/4
Gary Anderson to beat Steve West 4-0 – 5/6
