We’ve got some cracking cricket action on Friday morning, with the first One Day International between South Africa and England.
This should be a thriller, especially with Jofra Archer returning to action in the bowling line up for England. All eyes are also on Harry Brook, who gets his first ODI outing.
If you look at South Africa’s recent form at the Mangaung Oval, they’ve only lost one of their last eight ODI’s there! They’ve won 16 of their 24 games in total here, which doesn’t bode well for England.

Most of South Africa’s players have also been playing in the South African T20 league that’s going on at the moment so they have the advantage ahead of England.
I’m siding with South Africa to Win as everything is stacked in their favour, including the Mangaung Oval wickets suiting them.
I’m expecting a low-scoring affair but Moeen Ali to be England’s Top Runscorer seems a value selection.
If England were to lose those early wickets, he’s a great price considering he strikes at 100. He’s also averaging 123 in his ODI’s, which is about 25 runs per innings. Something over that could put him as England’s Top Runscorer.
