Expect plenty of thrills and spills as the stars of cricket head Down Under for the latest instalment of the ICC T20 World Cup.

Australia head into the home tournament as defending champions after beating New Zealand by eight wickets in last year’s final.

This edition was meant to be played in 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, although the 2021 competition took place as planned. It is scheduled to take place from Sunday, October 16 to Sunday, November 13.

Group A: Namibia, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates
Group B: Ireland, Scotland, West Indies, Zimbabwe

The top two from each group progress to the Super 12 to join the big boys of international cricket.

England, bidding to win the title for a second time, are next in the betting having climbed to second in the world rankings.

India top the world rankings but the cricket-mad nation have not lifted the trophy since the inaugural tournament in 2007.
