After Oleksandr Usyk’s split-decision victory over Tyson Fury saw him become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era, all eyes are already on the rematch.
The Ukrainian got the better of the Gypsy King in Saudi Arabia in May and almost finished the fight in round nine after knocking Fury down.
Usyk retained his WBO, WBA and IBF titles, winning Fury’s WBC belt to become the first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
There was always going to be a rematch whatever the outcome, but it was confirmed in quick-fire time.
All four belts will not be on the line, however, with Usyk being forced to vacate the IBF belt.
