Can AJ become a world champion once again?

Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois press conference.

A battle of the Brits beckons as Anthony Joshua takes on Daniel Dubois for the vacant IBF world heavyweight championship.

The belt, formerly held by Joshua, was most recently in the hands of Oleksandr Usyk after he defeated Tyson Fury in May to become the undisputed champion of the heavyweight division – the only boxer to achieve that feat this century.

However, the 37-year-old was forced to vacate the crown after agreeing to a rematch with Fury rather than facing the mandatory challenger.

This has allowed both Joshua and Dubois to face off in another title match. Both men have been involved in previous title bouts before, with former champion Joshua once being the top dog in the division, while Dubois lost to Usyk last year.

With a huge amount of fights taking place in Saudi Arabia these days, this one makes a welcome return to Wembley Stadium – the first clash at the venue since 2022.
