Under 6.5 rounds

Jake Paul steps back into the ring this weekend up against former UFC star and bare-knuckle fighter Mike Perry. Following the postponement of his epic showdown with Mike Tyson, Paul is filling the void by facing Perry before his rescheduled clash with the former heavyweight world champion in November.

Jake Paul to win by KO/TKO

TV: DAZN, Sunday 5am

Paul’s record since pulling on the gloves for a first professional bout in 2020 is quite impressive with nine wins from ten fights spread across KO, TKO and unanimous decision calls.

Looking at his most recent appearances, he’s cruised to two easy wins in the last 12 months, winning by knockout against Andre August in December and by TKO against Ryan Bourland in March.

His pre-fight bravado indicates he is ready to put Perry on the canvas as quickly as possible and there is more value in a Paul win via either KO or TKO than a straight win market.

Jake Paul to win in Round 2

The favourite made quick work of defeating August and Bourland with victories confirmed inside the first round of two eight round bouts.

He flew out of his corner in both scraps, and ended the contest before the three minute mark, and he will look to get this over and done with as quickly as possible.

However, his opponent this time around should have a little more staying power, despite not making a professional appearance since his sole fight in 2015.

Perry has won four of his five bareknuckle fights, including three in the last 12 months, with two of those stretching to the second round and he should ask a few questions of Paul.

Under 6.5 rounds

Following on from the idea that Paul will want this done quickly, an under 6.5 round bet looks to be a decent option, even if the fight does not go according to plan for him.

He does have previous of fights going beyond the sixth round, including eight rounds in his loss to Tommy Fury and 10 in victory over Nate Diaz, both in 2023.

However, based on his recent record, and Perry’s bareknuckle statistics, this is not expected to be a lengthy slug fest.
