The biggest bout in boxing history.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk

A new date has been set for the undisputed world title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Uysk after the Gypsy King withdrew following an injury sustained in sparring.

The bout was originally scheduled to take place in February, but it will now take place on Saturday, May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

Fury was said to be “devastated” at having to pull out at the last minute but he couldn’t help getting injured, sustaining a cut that required urgent medical attention.

Regardless of the delay, Fury v Usyk promises to be one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing as the winner will take their place in the history books as the first man to hold all four belts at the same time.

Fury, 35, boasts an unbeaten record of 33 victories and one draw, while Usyk, 36, has a perfect CV with 21 wins from 21 fights after taking three belts from Anthony Joshua and his most recent bout was a workmanlike victory over Daniel Dubois in August.
