British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is scheduled to return to action later this year in the hope of becoming the undisputed champion of the world.
Fury has held the WBC world heavyweight title since 2020 after defeating American Deontay Wilder in the second match of their iconic trilogy.
The Gypsy King became a world heavyweight champion for the first time in 2015 after beating Ukrainian boxer Vladimir Klitschko, but was forced to relinquish the belts a year later after a positive drug test and a battle with depression saw him take an extended break from the sport.
He returned in 2018 with the sole purpose of defeating Wilder. Since their three fights and Fury’s return to the top of boxing, the Englishman has defended his title twice against Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.
Fury survived a lucky scare in his last fight with MMA star Francis Ngannou, only narrowly winning on a split decision after being knocked down by the Cameroonian.
His latest return to the ring was scheduled to take place on February 17, but after sustaining an injury in training Fury will be back to the ring in a couple of months.
