Boxing’s biggest ‘influencer’ Jake Paul has confirmed his first fight of 2024 following his big victory over Andre August late last year.
‘The Problem Child’ has long been criticised for fighting social media stars or ageing sportsmen, and following his defeat to Tommy Fury in early 2023 his road to success looked over.
Following that loss, Paul chose to fight former UFC star Nate Diaz instead of a seasoned boxer. However, he then went on to defeat pro-boxer August with a first-round knockout, and now he’s looking to challenge himself again.
Later this spring, he will face 19-fight veteran Ryan Bourland in a co-main event with female superstar Amanda Serrano.
While Bourland is ageing, it’s a respectable fight for Paul, who’s looking to move up in the boxing world.
