Boxing’s biggest ‘influencer’ Jake Paul has a new opponent after his clash with Mike Tyson was postponed.
‘The Problem Child’ has long been criticised for fighting social media stars or ageing sportsmen, and after his defeat to Tommy Fury in early 2023 his road to success looked over.
Following that loss, Paul chose to fight former UFC star Nate Diaz instead of a seasoned boxer. However, he then went on to defeat pro boxers Andre August and Bourland with first-round knockouts.
His highly anticipated fight with Tyson was due to take place in July but had to be postponed after the former world champions suffered a medical issue.
Whilst a new date has been scheduled, Paul will face off against former UFC star Mike Perry first.
Paul considered waiting until his new date with Tyson but changed his mind and will now face the bare-knuckle fighter.
