Jake Paul continues his boxing career with a low-key bout against American professional Andre August this weekend.
‘The Problem Child’ bounced back from his majority-decision defeat to Tommy Fury by beating UFC legend Nate Diaz in the summer.
It is hardly the scrap against fellow YouTuber KSI that influencer boxing fans are hoping to see, but it is interesting, nonetheless, that Paul is testing out his skills as a pugilist against a seasoned pro.
Sure, August is hardly a household name but he has 10 wins – five by knockout – from 12 fights and has vowed to send his loudmouth opponent “back to YouTube for good”.
He warned: “Jake Paul has the money, the fame, the team and the resources, but he doesn’t have my hunger.”
