The latest evening of influencer boxing is set to be the biggest to date as KSI and Tommy Fury prepare to finally settle their beef in the ring.

The six-round cruiserweight clash is the main event on the hotly-anticipated MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card, which also feature’s KSI’s rival-turned-business-partner Logan Paul taking on MMA star Dillon Danis, who is Conor McGregor’s training partner.

Love Island contestant Tommy Fury, the younger brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson, already has the scalp of one internet star on his CV after beating Jake Paul by split decision in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

YouTuber KSI comes into the bout – sanctioned by the Professional Boxing Association – off the back of fighting Joe Fournier in an exhibition that was ruled a no contest after he was ruled to have used an elbow when knocking out his rival.

He called out Fury during a face-to-face confrontation after the fight and a contest at a fighting weight of 183lbs was subsequently agreed.

KSI v Tommy Fury pre-fight comments

Fury has taken to the mean streets of ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain to issue a threat to KSI ahead of the fight.

“When I jump in the ring with KSI he will quickly realise that fighting a YouTuber is completely different to fighting a professional boxer,” he said.

“This is a message for KSI. Cut all of that fancy talk out, the laughs and all the stupid bandanas, whatever you want to do… come October 14 his life will be ruined.

“All his singing, podcasting, his business, it will all be finished as mark my words, he’ll be leaving Manchester Arena in an ambulance. I can quite clearly guarantee it.”

KSI, however, is confident that his rival is underestimating his ability in the ring.

“This brother thinks I’m going to be easy. He thinks I’m going to be easier than Jake Paul,” he said.

“I’m not Jake Paul, man. I hit harder, I move faster, I’m just a different entity. I’m a different guy.”
