The co-headline fight at the event in Manchester on Saturday features the prankster-turned-wrestler Logan Paul versus cage fighter-turned-prankster Dillon Danis.

It is Paul who is our bookie’s favourite in this one, and this time I can’t see it going any other way.

Logan Paul Points Or Decision

He’s yet to win a boxing match but Logan has been training in the sport for more than five years – first he faced KSI in 2018 when they drew, then he lost KSI when the pair rematched in 2019, and most recently he did an eight round exhibition with boxing great Floyd Mayweather. But it is worth noting that Paul would have beaten KSI if he hadn’t had two points deducted for an illegal blow.

Danis has been fighting for most of his life but he hasn’t been dedicated to boxing until very recently. In fact, when Dillon was competing in MMA until 2019 he would’ve only used boxing to move the fight to his preferred grappling positions.

This is another six round fight and another where the weaker boxer should survive to hear the final bell.

Danis knows enough to steer clear of Logan’s big combos, and he cares more about avoiding embarrassment than winning.

Logan Paul To Win In Round 1

Paul’s best chance of a KO is to catch Danis cold – the former Jiu-Jitsu star might take a while to adjust to Paul’s height and reach advantages, and Paul is known to gas-out in the later rounds.

There isn’t a huge record of fights to judge Logan on, but his brother Jake does have some previous experience with MMA grapplers. When the younger Paul faced former UFC wrestling specialist Ben Askren in 2021 he stopped him within one round.

Paul promised Danis a rematch in MMA and I have a feeling that Dillon hasn’t even bothered to prepare properly for this fight.

I think it will probably go the distance but I’m also going to have a little punt on a first round KO.
