Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin are set to go to war once again as their trilogy concludes this weekend.
After a dramatic draw in 2017, the pair went at it for a second time in 2018 as Canelo won by majority decision to take home a string of middleweight belts.
Boxing fans have had to wait a while for them to meet in the ring for a third time but the rivalry is still red hot with the 32-year-old Mexican vowing to “end” Golovkin’s career.

Canelo, who is putting his WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring super-middleweight titles on the line, has a point to prove after losing to Dmitry Bivol at light heavyweight last time out, however.
While unified middleweight champion Golovkin, the elder of the two men at the age of 40, has fought just four times since losing to his rival, with his most recent outing seeing him pick up the WBA (Super) middleweight title from Ryota Murata.
