McGregor 5/4 for Mayweather rematch after Floyd sets tongues wagging

The 50-0 boxing icon sure knows how to get the sporting world talking…

If there’s one thing that boxing kingpin Floyd Mayweather does better than anyone else, it’s self-promotion and it looks like he’s got everyone eating out of the palm of his hand again today.

Mayweather – who retired for a third time after beating MMA superstar Conor McGregor in August – sparked rumours of a 51st walk to the squared circle by simply posting a couple of videos of him laying into a punching bag on Twitter early this morning.

The clips have left boxing fans wondering when the five-weight world champion will step back between the ropes and our traders make it just 2/1 that we’ll see him in action next in 2018. A 2019 return comes in at 5/1, while it’s 15/2 that he’ll hear his next opening bell in 2020.
