As you may have seen, we’re rolling the roulette wheel and betting on black when it comes to the weekend’s big fight in Vegas. And it seems as if our early payout on Floyd Mayweather Jr to beat Conor McGregor is getting plenty of attention across the Atlantic. Not least with the Money-man himself.
Floyd appears to have embraced with open arms the faith we’re placing in him.
Not that he needs any of the Luck of the Irish – ironically, it’s his opponent that will need far more of that if he’s to stand any chance of winning.
In a short video posted on Mayweather Jr’s social media accounts, the American seized the opportunity for a sly dig at McGregor, claiming that not even the Irishman’s compatriots think the Notorious stands a snowball’s chance in hell come fight-night.

Floyd, you’re not far wrong!
Still, not everyone was happy, with that famous Hibernian passion prompting many McGregor-zealots to make their feelings known:

Whatever happens, this fight has got people talking.
Here’s hoping for a decent contest. But we’re not holding our breath – after all, we checked and it turns out that only one of them is a boxer.
Weird.
