Paddy Power have today paid out on Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather Jr taking place amid speculation that the fight is about to be announced.
We’ve been taking bets on the fight occurring since January and decided to pull the plug today after cutting the odds of the fight happening to 1/100 following reports that a venue has been booked for the super fight.
The pay-out will cost the bookie €1,500, which would probably get you about 4 seconds of McGregor’s time, with the biggest individual winner collecting €382 having placed €200 on the box office clash happening at 10/11 back in January.

Asked about the payout on the super fight spokesperson Paddy Power, said: “This saga has seen more changes than McGregor’s outfits but it now looks a done deal and we’ve decided to throw in the towel.
“The fight looks set to be the biggest in history and might even eclipse both men’s egos.”
Mayweather is the overwhelming 1/10 favourite with Paddy Power to win the bout with McGregor available at 6/1 to hand the boxing legend his first ever defeat.
