NBA Tips: Doncic features in our 11/1 Multi-Match Bet Builder on Monday night

We've got Monday night hoops action across the pond.

We’ve got another busy night of NBA action on Monday with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves all featuring.

Our tipster James Walters has put together a tidy Multi-Match Bet Builder, which gets underway in the early hours of Tuesday morning, for you lucky lot.

Monday night’s NBA betting tips:

Tuesday 00:10: Indiana Pacers @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5
Anthony Edwards to score 25+ points

Tuesday 02:10: Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors to win
Nikola Jokic to record 12+ rebounds

Tuesday 02:40: San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers -6.5
Luka Doncic to record 8+ rebounds

Tuesday 00:10: Indiana Pacers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5

The Timberwolves host the Indiana Pacers with Minnesota looking to win their ninth consecutive game.

Their winning run has moved them up to seventh in the Western Conference and just 3.5 games behind the second seed Houston Rockets.

While Anthony Edwards will be confident that is side can beat anyone on any night, the Timberwolves will be keen to finish in the top six in the west to avoid the play-in tournament.

Minnesota should have enough to cover the -4.5 handicap on Monday given they’ve won by five or more points in seven of their last eight wins.

The Pacers are 5-5 in their last 10 games and while they’re fifth in the Eastern Conference, they’re 16-19 on the road this season.

Anthony Edwards to score 25+ points

Edwards is Minnesota’s main man and the 23-year-old could be the next face of the league.

He’s desperate to bring a championship to the Timberwolves organisation and he’s on fire this season with Edwards averaging 27.4 points per game, which is the fourth-highest tally in the NBA.

Edwards, who has opted to shoot more threes this season, scored 41 points against the Utah Jazz last time out and he’s finished with 25+ points in five of his last six games. Expect that trend to continue.

Tuesday 02:10: Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors to win

While all eyes were on the Luka Doncic trade last month, many didn’t pay attention to Jimmy Butler heading to the Bay Area to join the Warriors.

Maybe it going slightly under the radar helped as Golden State have won their last seven games and nine of their last 10 to lift them up to sixth in the west.

The Warriors host the Denver Nuggets, who are third in the Western Conference and always dangerous, but Butler and Steph Curry are deadly duo and their confidence is sky high.

We like the Warriors to win given they’re 21-13 at home and the Nuggets have struggled to find consistency this season. Their loss against the Washington Wizards, the second-worst team in the league, proves just that.

Nikola Jokic to record 12+ rebounds

Nikola Jokic guided the Nuggets to their first NBA championship in 2023 and the three-time MVP is once again putting up video-game numbers.

The 6ft 11in big man is averaging 29.1 points, 12.8 rebounds and 10.3 assists while shooting 57.5 per cent from the field.

Jokic is battling with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to win the MVP this season and he comes into Monday’s game on the back of his 40 point, 13 rebound and nine assist performance against the Wizards.

We’re only focused on his rebounding though and we fancy him to record 12+ rebounds.

He’s finished with 12+ boards in eight of his last 10 games. If he hits his seasonal average, this should land pretty easily.

Tuesday 02:40: San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers -6.5

Finally, we’re in Los Angeles as the Lakers host the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs have the third-worst record in the west and they have little chance of snatching a play-in spot given Victor Wembanyama has been shut down for the rest of the season.

The Lakers, who are without the injured Lebron James, are fifth in the west and just one point behind the Rockets in second.

JJ Redick’s side will have far too much quality for San Antonio and Doncic will likely lead them to a routine victory in downtown LA.

Luka Doncic to record 8+ rebounds

The Lakers being without James means one thing – it’s the Doncic show.

In his 14 games for the Lakers since the blockbuster trade, the 26-year-old is averaging 26.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.

The Slovenian has put up 33, 45, 22, 34, 32, 30, 29 and 31 in his last eight games and while we know he’s an elite scorer, we like Doncic to record 8+ rebounds.

He’s averaged eight or more rebounds in every season in the league apart from his rookie year and he’s hit the tally in five of his last six games.
